CHMC's Activities

In addition to our regular Sunday Morning Services, CHMC has a number of events that take place during the year, weekly, monthly and less frequently. We also share events and activities with other churches in the area. We have given you a list of what events are the most regular and what is involved in them. We hope that this gives you as much information as possible, and if you should have any further queries, do not hesitate to get in contact with us.


Church Events


Meets weekly on Tuesday (Term Time Only) between 5:00 and 6:15pm at Chalford Methodist Church for primary age children  (7-11). Exciting games, Creative Challenges and Lots of Fun.  (Contact Anton Wynn for details on 07816 315423 ). £2 donation per session.



Games, creative crafts, cooking, free play, stories and songs. This is a family event, so all children should be accompanied by an adult.


Community Activities and Commercial Events

Tone Up Tuesdays

Beginning at 6.30pm every Tuesday, this is the perfect club to burn those unwanted calories and tone up your legs, bums and tums. All of the equipment is supplied for you and the instructor is fully trained in first aid. £4 per class is great value for money.


Chalford Hill Mother and Toddler Group

Meets weekly on Wednesday mornings. CHMTG allows you to meet with mothers, or fathers, with babies and toddlers. There is now a baby corner specifically for very young babies. A small contribution is required for adults and children to cover running costs.



There is a Pilates group that meets on Thursday evenings, at 6.15pm, and Friday Mornings at 9.15am. Meg Walker, who is qualified for Scott Pilates Matwork, takes the classes with an £8 charge per session.The numbers for this class are limited so do not arrive late.


Lace Group

Lunch Club

Would you enjoy a home cooked lunch with friends old and new? If so come and join us. A 2-course meal will be served followed by tea or coffee, (A vegetarian option is avaliable). The cost of this £6 per person. Transport £1.50 is available for those who need it. This club is run on the third Friday of the month with a 12.30pm arrival and a 12.45pm start.
